IEP was also a member of the IMPACT (International Mobility Program on Atlantic Citizenship Trends) project, a consortium made up of four universities - UCP, University of Trier, University of Colorado in Boulder and the University of Massachusetts in Dartmouth – and recently awarded the "ATLANTIS Excellence-in-Mobility 2010-2014" grant by the European Commission and the U.S. Department of Education.
The programme was active between 2010 and 2015, attended by 33 students and 8 professors.

IMPACT is exclusively dedicated to the study, research and teaching of themes related to citizenship and integrating interlinked issues such as immigration, naturalisation, democracy, civil society and human rights, for example.
The IMPACT program consists of a transatlantic exchange of students and professors between two European and two American universities. The UCP students selected to participate in this program are awarded study grants for one academic term (around four months). Professors accepted onto the exchange program, in turn, receive study grants of two to four weeks in duration.
