Bio

Leonor Durão Barroso holds a PhD in Political Science and International Relations from the Institute for Political Studies of Universidade Católica Portuguesa and a BA in Classics (focus on the Translation of Classical Languages) from the Faculty of Letters of the University of Lisbon.

She is Invited Assistant Professor at the Institute for Political Studies of Universidade Católica Portuguesa, teaching in the BA in Political Science and International Relations. She is also a researcher at the Research Centre of the Institute for Political Studies (CIEP).

Her research is mainly on political thought, with a focus on the School of Salamanca and its intersection with international law, modern political philosophy, and the Social Doctrine of the Church.
