The 2nd edition of the “Dialogues with Diplomats” Cycle begins on September 24th, an initiative of the Association of Students and Former Students of IEP (AAIEP) and the Institute of Political Studies (IEP-Católica) with the support of Ambassador Ana Martinho.
This initiative aims to provide an open and enriching dialogue between foreign diplomats posted in Portugal and IEP students, creating a bridge between the academic and diplomatic environments and offering students a unique opportunity to discuss topics of international relevance, from foreign policy issues to contemporary geopolitical challenges.
The 1st edition was attended by diplomats from several embassies, including Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, the United States of America, France, Ireland, Morocco, the Republic of Korea and Senegal, who shared their experiences and reflections on current diplomatic dynamics, the role of bilateral and multilateral relations, and the challenges of their missions in Portugal.
