The Institute of Political Studies (IEP) of the Portuguese Catholic University is launching a new master's program entitled “Master in the European Union and the Atlantic”. In a world undergoing rapid change, the European Union (EU) is a reality whose knowledge is essential to understanding the world in which we live.
Recognizing the relevance and urgency of studying and researching these topics, IEP Católica presents this new master's program, ideal for students with a multidisciplinary profile from different scientific areas who are interested in the development and future challenges of the EU; who want to understand the relevance and contribution of the Atlantic area to the development and future stability of the EU; and who wish to contribute to the development of multidisciplinary and sustainable solutions to the complex socio-economic challenges that the EU currently faces.
The program focuses on an essential theme for future Portuguese and European decision-makers - the EU and its challenges in a rapidly changing world. By the end of this program, students will have acquired knowledge of the Atlantic geopolitical environment, the EU's main policies and the role of its institutions. In addition, they will have developed analytical skills and the ability to generate new approaches and explanations.
Classes will be held during working hours (in the afternoon) from Monday to Friday.
