The Institute of Political Studies of the Universidade Católica and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation are organising an International Seminar on ‘Counter Terrorism and Conflict Prevention in Troubled Times’.
On 15 and 16 November, the Portuguese Catholic University will host specialist Florian Hartleb for an International Seminar, held in partnership between IEP-Católica and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS). Under the theme ‘Counter Terrorism and Conflict Prevention in Troubled Times’, the event will take place from 6.30pm to 8pm in the Exhibition Hall.
Florian Hartleb, a renowned expert in security, terrorism and conflict prevention policies, will lead a detailed discussion on the strategies and challenges the world faces in the fight against terrorism and in building solutions to prevent conflicts in an increasingly uncertain global context.
The partnership between IEP-Catholic and KAS reinforces the two institutions' commitment to promoting critical and informed debate on issues of relevance in the field of political science and international relations at international level.
The seminar on 15 November is open to the public and aimed at students, academics, professionals and anyone interested in understanding security policies and conflict prevention.
