The European Union & The Atlantic
In a world undergoing rapid change, understanding the European Union (EU), its integration process and its geopolitical challenges is essential to understanding today’s international landscape.
The Institute for Political Studies of Universidade Católica Portuguesa offers a multidisciplinary Master’s programme dedicated to the European Union and the Atlantic space, designed for graduates in Law, International Relations, Political Science, Economics and other Social Sciences.
The programme provides students with the knowledge and analytical skills to understand EU institutions, policies and decision-making processes, while exploring the strategic importance of the Atlantic space for Europe’s future, security and prosperity.
Combining political, economic, legal and international perspectives, the programme prepares graduates for professional opportunities in the public, private and non-governmental sectors, at national, European and international levels.
Students will develop the ability to analyse European challenges, assess geopolitical risks and contribute to innovative and sustainable solutions for the future of Europe.
