Paulo Sande has a Degree in Law (Universidade Clássica de Lisboa), a post-graduation in Communitary Law and a MA in Political Theory and Science (with a thesis distinguished with the Jacques Delors award), both from Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
He is currently a University Professor in Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Consultant for Political Affairs to the President of the Portuguese Republic, member of the Coordinating Council of SEDES (Association for Economic and Social Development) and a columnist in the online newspaper Observador.
He previously held several ministerial international positions, namely in the European Parliament, has been President of the Chamber of Commerce Portugal-Mozambique, founding member of APECO (Portuguese Association for Communitarian Studies) and Director of Forum Europa magazine. He is also a regular presence in the Portuguese media and is the author of various books related to European Union matters.
