Teresa ClímacoLeitão is guest lecturer at the Institute for Political Studies–CatholicUniversity of Portugal (IEP-UCP) since 2016. She holds a PhD in Political Science andInternational Relations from UCP and has a Degree in History form Faculty of Humanand SocialSciences, Nova University of Lisbon. She is an integrated researcher inCIEP-UCP. Teresa’s current research concerns transitions to democracy, State-Church relations, religion and politics. She published articles on these topics.Currently, she is a researcher of the project "The works of Mário Soares". Teresa hasreceived the award from the Fundação Mário Soares–Fundação EDP 2014,Contemporary History, with her PhD thesis.
