Open Class on the Role of the Internal Security System

The Institute for Political Studies will host, on February 26, an Open Class integrated into the Master’s in Public Policy, dedicated to the topic “The Role of the Internal Security System in Internal Security Policy.”

The session will feature Brigadier-General Gonçalo Carvalho, current Deputy Secretary-General of the Internal Security System (SSI), who will share with participants his perspective and experience regarding contemporary challenges in Portugal’s internal security.

The Open Class will take place at 6:30 PM, in Sala Infante D. Henrique, and represents an opportunity for students, researchers, and all interested participants to deepen their understanding of how the Internal Security System operates and how it fits within public security policies.
